StartupMalaysia is partnering with Samsung Malaysia Electronic (Samsung) to help budding entrepreneurs reach the next level.

In line with Samsung’s aspiration that supports the idea of chasing after your dreams and making it happen, 35 experts and engineers were flew in from Samsung Headquarters to share its know-how with local startups. They were in Malaysia from 4 – 10 August 2018 to provide mentorship in marketing, engineering and strategy to 16 selected local startups. This program is part of Samsung’s Employee Volunteer Programme based on the theme Global Startup Acceleration Programme (GSAP).

The 16 startups were selected from various sectors, including education, agriculture and fashion.

The top three winning teams received cash prizes and six month accelerator program from StartupMalaysia to help them build out their business.
