AsianLaunchpad is an accelerator program initiated by StartupMalaysia. Its goal is to help startups go up and running as quickly as possible from idea to a stage where they can raise more rounds of funding from other investors.

AsianLaunchpad believe by leveraging the strength of the diversity in Asia with startup science, we can create startups that can truly succeed in this market;

We also believe, when entrepreneurs, hackers, hustlers, activators and connectors from the region come together at a closed environment for a given period of time, serendipity is ignited and magic can be created. This is where we select our batch to be accelerated.

At the AsianLaunchpad we provide seed funding of RM25,000 to each selected team in exchange for a small stake. Seed funding is the earliest stage of venture funding and it helps entrepreneurs pay for their expenses whilst building their ventures for the first 100 days;

3 teams - HiGi Energy, Trip and Treat, and KidzBot - comprised of ASEAN youth were selected to join AsianLaunchpad Accelerator from July – September 2015.
