1MET stands for 1Malaysia EnTrepreneurs. The 1MET program is a 2-day program aimed at encouraging youth in the grassroots level to think about and ideate on entrepreneurship. The objective of the program is to get more youth in rural communities to become self sufficient by launching their own ventures and sustaining them.

The 1MET bootcamp focuses on 4 basic building blocks of venture creation: Ideation, Validation, Building and Pitching.

StartupMalaysia run the program from 2013 to 2015 and trained more than 10,000 participants nationwide.
