FINALLY… WE HAVE THE TOP 5 STARTUPS

It started in October 2011 at ‘Silicon Valley Comes to Malaysia’ event, they were part of the 1,000 entrepreneurs that were INSPIRED.
Next, they were IDENTIFIED by the Silicon Valley icons themselves as the best 100 startups and attended the StartupExperience Innovation Camp.
We needed to have the best 10 startups from this pool to move to the next stage – INCUBATION and they took part in the online video pitching competition ‘Pitch Your Way to Silicon Valley’ and based on the international and local jury members’ decision, they made it to top 10.
They were among the 30 startups that attended an international workshop – GIST Startup Bootcamp which was organised in partnership with Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST).
At the Grand Finale of the 2-day Bootcamp, they went head-to-head at ‘Enter the Tiger’s Lair’ by pitching their way to Silicon Valley in just 5 minutes each to the team of judges and made it as WINNERS!
They won scholarships to attend a one-month visit to Silicon Valley attending YouNoodle Basecamp where they would get further coaching from the technology world’s icons, networking opportunities with more venture capitalists (VCs) and access to resources that could help propel their ideas and business forward.
